Mon. Sept. 15th

Teresa says... Tami managed to breathe on her own all last night and all of today. She still needs to be able to follow commands like "squeeze my hand", "make a fist", "cough", "open your eyes", etc. in order to have the ventilator removed. But she's on the right track. The blood clots are still in her upper arms and one more was found today in her neck. They are monitoring them and giving her a blood thinner. Tomorrow the occupational therapist will be working with her on some brain stem stuff. It will involve textures, smells, music, and my voice. Should be interesting.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We were so sad to receive the letter that was sent and learn of this tragedy. So heartened to hear Tami is making daily progress.

Great news Teresa! I look forward to hearing how it went with the therapist. Hopefully she is now on the long road to recovery. We love you Tami!

I guess I'm not the only one who checks this site many times a day. We got use to a 10am report. Thank you for that. Boy is it hard to wait to 9pm. We are all poised with our fingers on the mouse. I'm trying hard not to call Teresa so much. Thanks to Devron and Ann the secretaries. God Bless
